The Phoenix Takes Flight Again

Several years ago, I put this blog on hold while I focused on my career as a social worker, working for Wake County Human Services.

This past January, I left that position so that I could focus on developing my practice as a professional astrology, working for my own biz (The Proud Phoenix)...

... and now I'm finally ready--and eager!--to start blogging with you again.

So that's one way that the Phoenix is taking flight again.

Here are a few other ways that the ol' bird is taking wing again...

1. In the past month or so, I launched a Facebook page for the Phoenix... so you're invited to also join me there. (Currently, we're discussing "Emerging Passions" (EP): when transiting Pluto trines your natal Uranus, and how you might make the best of that "astrological weather pattern:" This is especially relevant for those who were born in or after September 1963.)
2. On Thurs. evening, May 17 in Raleigh, I'll be giving my first public talk as an astrologer at the Network of Triangle Astrologers (NTA) meeting, at Dancing Moon Books & Gifts. The subject: "2012-2015: How to Make the Best of Uranus Square Pluto. (This subject is relevant for ALL of us, but especially for those who have natal planets, etc. in the early-to-mid degrees of Aries / Cancer / Libra / Capricorn.)
3. I'm starting to do in-person consults (birth chart interps, transit & progress interps, etc.) for clients here in the Raleigh, NC, area. In the coming months, I'll also start doing them by telephone and via Skype / etc.
4. And in what's the most notable development for me personally, I've decided to move to the Denver, Colorado, metro area this coming July. I'm excited to give my natal Venus and Mars in Sag this new  type of adventure :-)
