... I'm imagining ways that two characters, one representing transiting Pluto in Capricorn and one transiting Uranus in Aries, could potentially act at cross purposes.
For example, imagine Pluto as a passionate director (PD) and Uranus as an individualistic daredevil (ID):
PD: “You idiot! Come down off that catwalk right night before you kill yourself!”
ID: thinking to himself: “How hard could it be to switch these wires to create the lighting effect that I’m after?”
Hmm...

By the way, in my "professional opinion," nothing says that any of us ...
... who are experiencing transiting Pluto in Capricorn square transiting Uranus in Aries...
.. .(and that's, uh, just everyone on the planet) ...
... have to let the two ongoing change processes represented by these two "characters" deteriorate into (or stay stuck in) such a conflictual scenario.
It might take some sustained / repeated "heavy lifting" at times, over these next few years...
... but I do believe we're up to the task.
You're Such a Character! (A Number of Characters, Actually)
So look at your birth chart. Think about how you might be going through a very gradual process (i.e., one lasting several years) ... of either renewal or ending and new beginning... in whichever house contains 9 degrees Capricorn.
Pluto is currently creeping through that part of your life. And that's where you might want to ponder how you might be an even better Passionate Director than you're already being.
Likewise, think about how you might be going through a process of (hopefully) acting based on whatever is s right and true for you ... as opposed to doing either what others think you should do or doing the exact opposite of what they think you should do... in whichever house contains 9 degrees Aries.
Uranus is currently surging through that part of your life. And that's where you might want to consider how you might be an even better Individualistic Daredevil than you're already being.

In my case, Pluto is transiting through my 8th house (the house of instincts--emotionally-charged subjects, the kind that people consider taboo / typically try to sweep under the rug ... It's also the house of what's "yours," "mine" and "ours"--deep bonding or involvement with others). That's where I'm gettin' my Passionate Director on.Uranus is transiting through my 11th house (the house of goals--what kind of future I want, my priorities, my strategies, and my alliances with like-minded people to accomplish more together than we could accomplish alone). That's where my "Individualistic Daredevil side" is especially looking for adventure.
